Global Mangrove Alliance
This Fourth edition of the SOWM demonstrates just how important good quality, representative, spatially explicit and up-to-date data is, for understanding how nature is faring, and interpreting the findings for policy and action. It includes voices from over 190 contributors from 30 countries – including government sources, communities, NGOs and scientists – many of whom come from the rapidly growing consortium of the Global Mangrove Alliance (GMA).
Global Mangrove Alliance
Building on the 2023 Mangrove Law and Policy Brief, this publication presents new and updated case studies on legal frameworks, governance mechanisms, and policy approaches supporting mangrove conservation, restoration, and sustainable management across national and regional contexts.
